This technical session demonstrates a production-ready, end-to-end workflow for Microsoft Intune app delivery using EtherApps Forge and EtherAssist. We begin by capturing the application without installation media in Forge to produce MSI, Win32 (.intunewin), and MSIX packages. Forge also generates a JSON manifest that serves as the source of truth for documentation and validation. EtherAssist ingests the manifest to create auditable documentation, surface actionable insights, and assist with troubleshooting. Finally, the EtherAssist browser extension guides admins step-by-step in Intune, uploading packages, creating Win32 detection rules, and configuring requirements, scope tags, and assignments (MSIX detection is native). Attendees leave with a repeatable, enterprise-grade process they can apply immediately.

Chris has been automating systems since 1998 – back when he thought “NetInstall” which was a cool name (it later became DSM). Since then, his mantra has been simple: if it can be installed, configured, or patched, it should be automated. He has been part of the E2E family since 2006, and these days he is not only an automation addict but also a proud E2E Ambassador. Outside IT, he swaps scripts for horsepower – anything with an engine and speed makes him just as happy.
Alexander has been in IT since 2005. He started out in automation, then spent many years as a consultant in the Citrix world — keeping huge banking environments with well over 10,000 terminal servers running. After mastering MSI technology, he took the developer’s road and moved into C++ and C# (.NET). For the past years, he’s been building interfaces for CyberArk, and since 2013 he’s been the lead developer at MoveIT Solutions GmbH. In short: if it’s complex, large-scale, or mission-critical, Alex is the guy who quietly makes it work.
Learn about Apple silicon, Apple Neural Engine, macOS virtualization, and how this all integrates with cloud data centers. Specifically, dive into what it takes to get access to a Mac from anywhere at any time, and remotely access them using apps like HP Anyware and Citrix VDA. We’ll also demo automation and infrastructure-as-code that can dynamically scale your macOS fleet to hundreds or thousands in minutes! Learn how to provide Apple developers across the world access to compliant, end-to-end managed macOS environments—on-demand.

Dave has been a part of the Apple world for over two decades. These days, he's with Fleet Device Management, helping folks manage their computers with open source technology. Prior to that, he was with AWS as a specialist in Amazon's EC2 Mac instances, and led SHI's Apple technical practice for 12 years, creating ZeroTouch to automate iOS deployment. Dave lives in Central NJ in a house with his wife and too many Macs, and has used em dashes for decades before the robots did.

How Remote Display Protocols Actually Work: Capture → Codec → Network → Present
In this vendor-neutral technical workshop, you'll embark on a comprehensive journey of a remote frame from capturing host graphics to making encoder decisions and implementing adaptive rate control, navigating through the transport layer, decoding on the client side, and finally presenting the output. The session will delve into where latency, drops, and visual artifacts originate and how to differentiate protocol faults from issues with the encoder, client, or OS/driver.
The session will cover capture timing, codec trade-offs (latency versus bitrate versus quality), pacing and congestion behaviors, and practical measurement signals for diagnosis. Attendees will gain a clear mental model of the remote protocol pipeline and a concise checklist for isolating protocol problems without the need for instrumentation-heavy experiments.
Denis Gundarev. For two decades Denis was focused on Remote Desktop, VDI, and application delivery. Denis is currently a Principal Product Manager at Microsoft, where he is responsible for the planning and development of display protocols. Previously he held various program management and consulting positions at several technology companies, including Amazon, VMware and Citrix.

Consulting 101 – Back to Basics.
Consulting is a bit of an art form, and in this session we’ll take a peek into Ferroque Systems’ DNA. Born from our lineage as one of Citrix Consulting’s largest outsourcers and refined across hundreds of projects in every industry imaginable, this session breaks down what really makes great consulting tick, from running $MM projects, dealing with fragile customer egos, to fundamental delivery skills that drive consistent results and maintaining a near perfect NPS score. We’ll strip away the fluff and get back to the basics: communication, structure, delivery, and that subtle art of not being “the smartest person in the room.” Expect sharp insights, battle-tested lessons, a few laughs at our own expense, and probably memes.
Michael Shuster, Michael is a 20+ year industry veteran and the founder of Ferroque Systems, one of North America’s most respected Citrix and NetScaler consultancies. He is recognized authority in Citrix and end-user infrastructure, having led hundreds of complex EUC projects across industries, authoring dozens of technical community articles, and co-developing many of Citrix’s leading practices. He now guides Ferroque’s operations and service delivery while continuing to shape its consulting methodology and technical standards and occasionally dives back into the technical trenches “for amusement and sport.” A passionate advocate for user-centric infrastructure and consulting excellence, Michael brings deep technical insight, strategic clarity, and a relentless drive for quality to everything he leads.
