This technical session demonstrates a production-ready, end-to-end workflow for Microsoft Intune app delivery using EtherApps Forge and EtherAssist. We begin by capturing the application without installation media in Forge to produce MSI, Win32 (.intunewin), and MSIX packages. Forge also generates a JSON manifest that serves as the source of truth for documentation and validation. EtherAssist ingests the manifest to create auditable documentation, surface actionable insights, and assist with troubleshooting. Finally, the EtherAssist browser extension guides admins step-by-step in Intune, uploading packages, creating Win32 detection rules, and configuring requirements, scope tags, and assignments (MSIX detection is native). Attendees leave with a repeatable, enterprise-grade process they can apply immediately.
Ryan is a recognized technologist specialising in End-User Computing (EUC), AI, cloud solutions, and cost optimisation. AI DIY: Fun with LM Studio, MCP and Parallels!
In this session we will talk about how we designed, coded and tested our own local AI environment using LM Studio and the Model Context Protocol Python SDK to see what AI can do with the Parallels reporting data. Basic MCP design and integration, what are interesting questions you could ask an AI, and does the result actually offer more than 'standard' reporting? We're not sure about that last one yet either, you be the judge!
Ton de Vreede. Ton has over 25 years experience working in IT, working mainly in the EUC space as a system architect/builder and troubleshooter with a focus on automation. More recently he has moved into developing solutions with PowerShell and works on applications that integrate with the Azure platform using Azure Function Apps. Glorious 27: how to (not) run a factory on 27 IP addresses in AWS

Abstract: Running a modern smart factory on just 27 IP addresses in AWS — what could possibly go wrong? In this session, Luca will share the real-world story of building cloud infrastructure for a factory in Germany. From aligning business requirements with AWS architecture, network design challenges, IaC with Terraform and containerized web apps, you’ll hear how a global manufacturer drives digital transformation in a production environment where IT meets OT.
Beyond the technical lessons, he will compare the German and Chinese factory experiences, highlighting not just the architectural differences but also the cultural aspects of collaboration.
Luca is a cloud architect and former trainee in digital transformation at a German DAX company. In his role, he is responsible for the AWS architecture that enables IoT, data engineering and web applications in an electrical device factory in Frankfurt, which has over 3,000 colleagues and generates more than a billion euros in revenue. As part of his work, he also spent two months at a sister factory in China.
