AI DIY: Fun with LM Studio, MCP and Parallels!
In this session we will talk about how we designed, coded and tested our own local AI environment using LM Studio and the Model Context Protocol Python SDK to see what AI can do with the Parallels reporting data. Basic MCP design and integration, what are interesting questions you could ask an AI, and does the result actually offer more than 'standard' reporting? We're not sure about that last one yet either, you be the judge!

Chris Marks. Chris is one of those people who loves walking around and waving his hands
about, talking to people about all sorts
of things. Remote meetings have put
pay to much of this, so E2EVC sees
Chris in his natural habitat once more
(watch out!). At Parallels, Chris is an evangelist and a Principal Outbound Product Manager.
He spends time gathering customers’
and partners’ feedback and discussing with IT leaders about how their businesses are coping with fundamental shifts in working practices alongside rapid changes in the way services
are being consumed; how organisations remain competitive in this environment and how they can deliver simplified, more agile services to allow them to do so.
Chris is proud to be an E2EVC
Ambassador.
He has lived many cat-like lives
previous to this including a Technical Instructor,
Solution Architect, Director of Strategy, Field Technologist and Field CTO.
